³³ The woman came up; she was afraid and trembling, but she knew what had happened to her. She fell down in front of him and told him the whole truth.

³⁴ “My daughter,” Jesus said to her, “your faith has rescued you. Go in peace. Be healed from your illness.”

³⁵ As he said this, some people arrived from the synagogue president’s house.

“Your daughter’s dead,” they said. “Why bother the teacher anymore?”
